Cong’s 1st list likely after Priyanka’s Oct 20 rally

New Delhi: The list of Congress candidates for Rajasthan, earlier pegged to be released on Wednesday, is likely to be released only after Priyanka Gandhi’s rally in Sikrai on October 20. Priyanka is coming to corner the Centre on ERCP issue & in such a situation, there is word in party circles of list getting stuck due to possible opposition before Priyanka. There were reports of possible protests from claimants who didn’t get tickets.

On Wednesday the meeting of Congress’ Central Election Committee was held at AICC HQs in New Delhi. Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Gaurav Gogoi, CM Ashok Gehlot, Raj Incharge Sukhjinder Randhawa, PCC Chief GS Dotasra & others were present.

Names of Rafeek Khan, Pratap Khachariyawas, Ramesh Meena, Rajendra Yadav, Mamta Bhupesh, Murarilal Meena, Danish Abrar, Rohit Bohra, Girraj Singh Malinga, Ramkesh Meena, Manisha Devi, Pushpendra Bhardwaj, Archana Sharma, Rakesh Pareek, Chetan Dudi,Shakuntala Rawat & Ramesh Meena are almost final.
