Congress will not succeed in misleading people: Rathore

Churu: Terming populist schemes of the Ashok Gehlot government as an attempt to garner votes by spending public money, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore on Tuesday said that the Congress will not succeed in misleading the people. “Congress wants to make votes by distributing freebies by spending the public money but this is a misunderstanding of the party. Congress will not be able to make people fool,” he said. He said that there has been open corruption during the tenure of the Congress government and the BJP is determined to end the misrule of the Congress. Rathore, while speaking at the Jan Aakrosh rally of BJP in Churu, also attacked Congress leader Sachin Pilot who observed a day-long fast today at Shaheed Smarak demanding action against the corruption of the former BJP govt. Rathore called Pilot the villain of tug of war. “We are addressing Jan Aakrosh meeting here while on the other hand, the villain of tug of war is sitting on a dharna at the martyr’s memorial in Jaipur,” he said. Rathore said that Pilot was the deputy CM in the government for 19 months but he did not utter a single word. “He should have spoken against the corruption of the Congress govt,” he said. BJP State President CP Joshi said that the party has given him the responsibility and he will fulfill it with a true heart.
