Congress leaders fight unitedly, there is only one captain: Kharge

Bhilwara: Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, while addressing the ‘Kissan Sammelan’ organised in Gulabpura in Bhilwara on Wednesday, said that despite doing so much work, BJP leaders are trying to scare Congress leaders. “It is said that I have ‘Red Diary’. Yellow Diary. ‘Black Diary’. Brother, keep your diary with you. If there is anything, bring it up. We will fight in court,” he said.

Kharge, while giving a kind of advice to the leaders of Rajasthan before the assembly elections, said that in Congress all the leaders contest elections together but there is only one ‘Captain’. The Congress President praised the schemes of the Congress government in Rajasthan. Describing the Rajasthan government’s welfare and social justice as an ‘excellent model’, he appealed to the people to bring Congress back to power.

Kharge said, “Don’t try to scare us. That’s why Rahul Gandhi has said that don’t be afraid. May you unite with courage and fight today’s challenges in collective leadership. Everyone always fights together in the Congress. But there is only one captain. The work that is being done today is being done under CM’s leadership. For this we all should help him. We have to give this message among the people that if Congress government comes again then everyone will be happy and prosperous.”

Kharge said, “BJP has not been given the right to rule to abuse Opposition. They don’t talk about the basic problems of people. Our people are being intimidated. ED, CBI raids are being conducted. I have been in politics for 57 years. Out of 13, I have lost only one election. There is no account of how many people from BJP-RSS went to jail for independence.”

Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat has described CM Ashok Gehlot as Lok Devta. “I now want to call a ‘Lok Devta’, who is giving benefit of Rs 70,000anually in every house in this Kalyug. I am inviting such Ashok Gehlot Saheb on the stage,” said Jat.
