Cong failed to implement JJM effectively: Choudhary

Chittorgarh: Cabinet minister Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary during his visit to Chittorgarh took on the previous Congress government for not working on the Jal Jeevan Mission. He said that they only tried to mislead the public. “Be it electricity or water, the Congress government only did corruption in every sector. Our government is working as per the expectations of the people and will fulfill the announcements made. The state govt had prepared a plan of Rs 1 lakh crore and sent a proposal to the Centre after which the Central government released a budget of Rs 20,000 crores. But the Congress government did not work during its tenure,” he said.

Besides, Choudhary said that officials should not harass farmers. “Farmer can install tubewells but if an industry uses water from the tubewells, then strict action should be taken,” he said.
