Cong doesn’t move forward without false promises: Raje
Hanumangarh, Nohar, Behror: Former CM Vasundhara Raje on Monday, targeted the Congress govt and said the schemes of the govt was like taking money from one pocket and placing it in another.
She pointed out that Rs 56.5 crore was collected from public in electricity bills under the fuel charge head and now a portion of it is being returned in the name of free electricity. Addressing meetings on nomination of BJP candidates Amit Chaudhary, Abhishek Matoria, and Dr Jaswant Yadav in Hanumangarh, Nohar, and Behror respectively, Raje emphasized the BJP’s commitment to keeping promises. She accused Congress of making false promises & failing to deliver, leading to farmer distress and unemployment.
Raje pledged to bring relief to people and revive stalled projects like ERCP, if BJP comes to power. “BJP doesn’t make false promises while Congress doesn’t move forward without false promises. Even after making promises, when Congress didn’t waive off farmers’ loans, farmers started committing suicide,” she alleged, adding, “Due to paper leak, youth committed suicide. The BJP govt will come and make arrangements to ensure that paper isn’t leaked.”
