Comparing Maharana Pratap and Akbar ‘foolish’: Dilawar

Udaipur: State Education Minister Madan Dilawar during a conversation with the media during the state level Bhamashah Samman ceremony held in Udaipur on Sunday said that drawing a comparison between Maharana Pratap of Mewar and Akbar is stupid. He also said that calling Akbar ‘great’ would be insulting Mewar and Rajasthan. A furious Dilawar said that if any book describes Akbar as great, it will be burnt.

Earlier, in the state level Bhamashah Samman ceremony organized in Sukhadia University auditorium, Dilawar said that imparting education is the biggest religion and Bhamashahs are like gods. He said that every single penny given by them will be utilized properly.

Tribal Minister Babulal Kharari expressed his commitment to make efforts to expand and strengthen educational facilities in the tribal area.
