Communities clash over parking in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: An incident of stone pelting was reported near Bakra Mandi in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar of Jodhpur on Thursday after a dispute between two communities over car parking. Soon, a large number of people gathered and created a ruckus in which a woman was seriously injured.

The police are investigating the matter. A person from Pak displaced Hindu settlement was coming in his van.

Another person who came to the market parked his vehicle close to his van after which an argument ensued and people from the other community started pelting stones.

The car driver Bhuraram and a woman were also assaulted.

On receiving the information about the clash, the police rushed to the spot and assured them of a fair probe in the entire matter.

The displaced Hindus alleged that a mob from Mandi entered their house and beat up women.

The Police are scanning the CCTV footage installed in the Bakra Mnadi locality to identify the accused involved in the incident.
