CMO seeks report, Birla visits hosp; wants health Min to come

Kota: Chief Minister Office has sought report on matter of rat nibbling eyelids of a woman patient in MBS hospital of Kota. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday visited hospital and took information from doctors.

Later, talking to reporters, Birla said the health minister should visit the hospital to see the filth and mismanagement in hospital. He also said that the government should ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

On the other hand, the MBS hospital has constituted a committee to inquire into the matter.

The state Human Rights Commission has also asked the hospital authorities to send a factual report on the matter.
