CM meets Central leaders to propel ‘Rising Rajasthan’ & arms projects

New Delhi: During his visit to the national capital on Sunday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a crucial meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval at his residence. The discussion focused on the “Rising Rajasthan” initiative, which includes potential proposals from foreign companies for setting up arms manufacturing units in the state.

Given that arms manufacturing involving foreign companies is a matter of national security, CM Sharma’s meeting with NSA Ajit Doval is seen as significant. Reports suggest that several Rajasthan ministers are also involved in these efforts. Major proposals are anticipated during the “Rising Rajasthan” Investment Summit, pending central approval.

In addition to his meeting with Doval, CM Sharma also met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at his residence in Delhi. The two leaders held a courtesy lunch, discussing various topics, including the upcoming “Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit.”

Continuing his series of important meetings, Sharma also met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar. These meetings covered the detailed plans for the “Rising Rajasthan” Investment Summit 2024, scheduled for December, and included discussions on strategies to attract investment in key economic sectors of the state.
