Chhabra violence: VHP blames PFI, calls for bandh on Apr 16
Kota/Baran: Four days after the communal violence hit Chhabra town, Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Wednesday alleged that members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) were involved in the violence and demanded arrest of all the accused involved in the violence.
VHP leaders held a press conference and alleged that one-sided action was taken by the police and administration. VHP leader Pratap Singh Nagda threatened to launch an agitation and VHP members will take out a march from Chhabra to Baran
if administration was failed to initiate action against the culprits involved in the violence.
He said that the government should give compensation to violence-hit victims. The VHP has also called for Baran bandh on April 16 against the incident.
On the other hand, BJP MLA Madan Dilawar also claimed that properties worth Rs. 200 crore were damaged by the members of a particular community.
