Brij university students protest semi-naked, submit demands

Bharatpur: The clamour for action against Brij University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ramesh Chandra, is growing in Bharatpur. A few days ago, college administrators met with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to speak about the Vice Chancellor; students at the university in Bharatpur are still demonstrating against him. Students staged a semi-nude protest today, demanding the Vice Chancellor's dismissal. Students went to the Chief Minister's Public Hearing Center and filed a memorandum to the OSD.

According to students' demands, there are financial irregularities at the institution, corruption, a constant deterioration in entrance examination and results, and rigging and scams in the appointment of tenders and contractual professors, all of which should be probed by SIT.
