Black money worth Rs 200 crore busted in I-T raid at Jodhpur

Jodhpur: The raids of Income Tax department’s Investigation Branch, which started at 10 locations in Jodhpur and Delhi on Monday, ended on 4th day on Thursday with seizure of undisclosed income of Rs 200 cr.

The IT sleuths have detected more than 15 shell companies through which expenses were reported to understate income. Apart from this, officers have also seized cash worth Rs 1 cr and jewelery worth Rs 3 cr. Bogus loans and contracts issued to shell companies to adjust expenses.
