BJY RESUMES WITH NEP AND FREE SPEECH

Dausa: After a one day break, Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra started from Kalakhoh in Dausa district. In the morning session, the yatris travelled till near Sikandra Police Station. During this, a huge crowd of local people was seen. In the morning session mainly three groups walked with Rahul Gandhi.

In the first group, Professor Shishupal Singh Bhadu of Jai Narayan Vyas University walked with Rahul Gandhi. While walking, there was mainly talk between the two about the new National Education Policy. Professor Bhadu told that the state governments are not financially capable for the provision made for three types of universities in the new education policy. Due to paucity of funds, the existing universities run by the state government are in a dilapidated condition. In such a situation, the pressure of the new university will put more burden on them.

The other group that walked with Rahul Gandhi was of litterateurs. These people expressed concern about the attack on free speech in educational institutions.

The third interaction was with a group of farmers. The farmers raised the issue of amendments made by the previous BJP government in the Land Acquisition Act due to which the farmers are facing losses.

The fourth film related to the campaign “Kyu Nahi Jude” of Bharat Jodo Yatra was released on Sunday. This film has been made keeping the problem of hatred at the centre, in which a couple says, “very good relations were formed with this city but all got lost in this storm of hatred.”
