BJP leaders always ignite divisive issues: Sachin Pilot
Tonk: While addressing the media in Tonk, Sachin Pilot criticized attempts to fuel tensions over religious issues, citing the 1991 law protecting religious sites. He stressed that recent incidents in Sambhal and Ajmer divert attention from pressing issues like farmers’ distress, unemployment, and inflation.
“In Sambhal, innocent lives were lost. We must distance ourselves from divisive forces. BJP thrives on polarization, always stirring issues,” Pilot said.
Regarding by-election results, Pilot admitted Rajasthan’s underperformance but highlighted Dausa’s victory.
He emphasized collective responsibility and ongoing analysis.
Responding to BJP’s Radha Mohan Das Agrawal’s statement, the Congress leader stressed decency in politics, stating, “Harsh words don’t lead to progress.”
