Birla plans Chambal Express Highway to connect State’s tiger reserves to MP

Kota: The tourism industry in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh is looking up at cheetahs that have been brought to the country after 70 years. Kota MP and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that a Chambal Express Highway is being considered to connect the tiger reserves of Sawai Madhopur and Mukundra-Ramgarh with the forests of Kuno inhabited by cheetahs in Madhya Pradesh. This would help tourists see the lion and cheetah only after travelling for an hour. During a public hearing in Kota, Birla talked about the mobile hospital launched in his parliamentary constituency on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on Saturday and claimed that the work is on to develop a health model which would be an example in the country.
