Banswara Police seize cash, jewellery worth over Rs 11crore

Banswara: Banswara Police seized gold and silver jewellery worth more than Rs 11 crore from a car going from the Badi Ghat check post of Danpur police station area. Danpur police station has informed the GST team and the Income Tax Dept after which both the departments reached the spot and interrogated the driver.

Additional SP Kesing Bhati said that in view of the upcoming elections, during an inter-state blockade, Danpur police station officer Praveen and his colleague stopped a van coming from Ratlam & found gold and silver jewellery in the bag.
