Assassinated bank manager Vijay Kumar got married 4 months ago

Hanumangarh: Terrorists shot dead a bank manager from Rajasthan inside the bank premises in Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday. 22-year-old bank manager Vijay Kumar Beniwal, resident of village Bhagwan was married on February 10, 2022 to Manoj Kumari, a resident of Pirkamadia in Hanumangarh district. His wife was also living with him in Jammu. The news of his death came through television to his family members here. After this, mourning griped the house and the village.

His father Om Prakash is a government teacher. Beniwal was the eldest of the two brothers. It is said that he joined banking service four years ago and was posted in J&K region for the last 3 years. Three days back, he was appointed in Ellaqui Dehati Bank at Areh Mohanpora branch in the south Kashmir district.

The family told that they used to talk to Vijay Kumar often.

This morning itself, Vijay Kumar’s mother had a talk with his wife Manoj Kumari then she had invited the parents to come to Jammu for a few days and also said that in July they would also come to the village for few days.

Talking about his plan, Vijay Kumar’s father said he was preparing for examinations to become a branch manager and wanted to shift to some other state.
