Asaram returns to jail after checkup, remarks in hosp about PM Modi

Jodhpur: Asaram, serving a life sentence for raping minor girl of Gurukul, was brought to AIIMS from Jodhpur Central Jail under tight security for medical checkup after his health deteriorated on Saturday. Later, he was again taken back to jail post health checkup. Meanwhile, supporters reached AIIMS, security personnel had to chase them away. Asaram commeneted out about PM Modi, “We are in Ram & he is in rajya (govt). When Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister in Gujarat, then he was also in touch with us.”
