Arrest man named in suicide note: Family

Jodhpur: The relatives of the jawan Naresh Jat, who shot himself in his quarters at the CRPF training centre, have refused to take the body and lodged an FIR at the Karwad PS on Monday. They demanded that the accused named in the FIR and the suicide note should be arrested. Relatives have listed six demands.

According to relatives, CRPF IG Vikram Sehgal gave permission to talk at 2 o’clock in the night but asked the relatives to talk in the morning. Jat’s father, Likhmaram, has demanded arrest of the accused and a judicial inquiry into the matter by a former HC judge as the matter is related to the CRPF.

They have demanded a government job for the 6-year-old daughter of the deceased upon attaining majority, lifelong pension to wife Urmila, gratuity according to the job of the deceased, leave money, etc. to be given at one time, cost of daughter’s education should be borne by the CRPF and the funeral of the deceased be done is his ancestral village Rajola Pali with guard of honour. The family warned that if the demands are not met, they will not take the body.
