Airport Terminal 2 ready for make over

Jaipur: Jaipur International Airport is all geared up for a massive development and renovation work at the landside area of Terminal 2. The development work is likely to start from next month and will get completed in one years.

The main objective to carry out development work at the landside area is to create more facilities for the passengers. Among the major development work is extension of porch area to avoid any kind of traffic jam during VIP movement and other similar situation. At present there are three lanes (Road) in the porch area while construction of three new lanes near the taxi parking area is on the cards. The porch area will soon have six lane structure of roads where traffic jam will be far from reality.

Apart from this, the present entry and exit gates at airport premises will also be shifted. New exit gate will be constructed near the two-wheeler parking area while the entry gate will be constructed near the VIP parking of the terminal 2. Both the gates will be connected to the six lane poach area. It will ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of traffic and will also save the time of passengers.
