After Udaipur, Kirodi wasn’t allowed to enter Ajmer city

Ajmer: BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena was not allowed to enter Ajmer city on Thursday night and was sent to Jaipur. Meena wanted to attend Sadhan Shivir of Shankaracharya in Pushkar but he was not allowed to enter the city. He remained seated in his car outside Krishi upaj mandi in Beawar and talked to media.

Meena, who reached Udaipur on Wednesday, said he was to attend condolence meeting and has also been invited to a tribal fair in Dhariawad on May 14 but police officers did not allow him to move out of the hotel.

Later, he was taken from Udaipur. He said he wanted to hold a press conference in Udaipur to draw the attention of Cong president Sonia Gandhi that hotel where the Chintan Shivir is going to be held in Udaipur was illegal and Gehlot govt gave clearance to hotel in violation of rules.

Meena said he also wanted to raise the issue of law and order, and atrocities on women in Cong rule in Rajasthan but he was taken from Udaipur. Meena said police including additional SP travelled with him in vehicle. He said was also not allowed to visit Srinath temple.
