After MLA Shobharani’s explusion, ex-MLA Abdul Sageer Khan quits Cong

Dholpur: In a significant political development in Dholpur after the expulsion of Dholpur MLA Shobharani Kushwah from BJP, former MLA Abdul Sageer Khan has left Congress party. Khan, who was a minister of state in the former BJP government, had left the saffron party in 2019 after levelling serious allegations on the party high command and later joined the Congress.

Now after Shobharani Kushwah was expelled by BJP for cross voting in favour of Congress candidate in recently held Rajya Sabha elections, Khan has quitted Congress. There is a buzz in political circles that Kushwah may join Congress and contest the assembly elections next year as Cong candidate and if this happens, what will be the meaning of Abdul Sagir Khan to be in Congress. Khan has not disclosed his next move but political observers believe that he may join BJP or BSP.
