ACB nabs head constable with bribe

Udaipur: The team of the Udaipur Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested the head constable of Sadar police station and recovered a bribe of Rs 8,500 during the action.

As per the information,  in the case of buffalo theft, demand for a bribe was made by head constable Motilal posted in Sadar police station. After this, a team was formed by the Udaipur Anti-Corruption Bureau under the leadership of the Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha and Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Meena, Head Constable Ramesh Chandra, Munir Mohammad, Constable Rajesh, Junior Assistant Dalpat Singh and Laxman Singh reached the Abu Road Sadar police station on Thursday. Head Constable Motilal’s father Lachharam, resident of Mataji Ka Vara Post of Bali tehsil of Pali district, was caught red-handed taking the bribe.
