ACB initiates raids on RTO inspector over DA case

Sirohi: The ACB initiated a raid against RTO Inspector Surendra Singh Chauhan for possessing assets disproportionate to his income. Teams conducted searches since morning at six locations in Jaipur and Sirohi, including Chauhan’s house, flat, penthouse, and farmhouse in Jaipur, and an apartment in Sirohi.

ACB DG Ravi Prakash stated that the ACB acted on a complaint alleging Chauhan accumulated wealth through corruption. After verifying the complaint, an FIR was filed against Chauhan.

The ACB’s six teams are thoroughly searching the properties.

Initial information suggests Chauhan amassed wealth through illegal means, including buying land and acquiring backdated leases from a society.
