ACB arrests govt doctor for taking bribe in Banswara

Banswara: The Anti Corruption Bureau on Wednesday arrested the medical officer of the government primary health center- Danpur in Banswara district while taking a bribe of Rs 8,000.

The accused Dr Pradeep Sharma had demanded the bribe in lieu of the operation of a female patient. After verification, the ACB laid a trap and caught him while taking the bribe amount, Additional SP ACB Madho Singh said.

He said that the accused doctor is a resident of Pali village in Dausa and was posted in Banswara for the last eight years.
