ACB arrests ADEO with Rs 8K bribe in Bharatpur

Bharatpur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday nabbed an Additional District Education Officer (ADEO) in Bharatpur while accepting a bribe of Rs 8000. Police informed that Sunil Agarwal, posted as ADEO in Bharatpur, was demanding bribes from the complainant in order to revise his salary.

“Sunil Agarwal along with department employee Ajay Gupta demanded bribes from the complainant. The complaint was secretly verified and a trap was laid. The accused was caught red-handed by accepting the bribe of Rs 8,000. The accused is being interrogated and searches are taking place at his residence,” ACB sleuths informed.
