Kota: The POCSO court sentenced a 72-year-old man to life imprisonment on Thursday in a sevenmonth-old rape case of a four-year-old. The judge sentenced Gopal Lal of Kota to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 20,000.
The accused was a distant relative of the victim and was arrested on December 27, 2022, after which the challan was presented in the court on February 27, 2023.
The court also wrote a poem for the victim to praise her mother’s courage while delivering the judgement.
