7 killed, 4 injured as cars collide in Laxmangarh town of Sikar
Sikar: Seven people were killed and four others were injured after two cars collided with each other in Sikar on Sunday evening, a top police official said.
The two vehicles involved were mangled in the crash. According to Laxmangarg, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharmaram Gila, “We received information about a collision between two vehicles on the highway. Seven people have died in the accident and four injured have been admitted to the hospital.”
The deceased has been identified as Kesri Devi (30), Yatika (9), Mool Chand, Sarita Gurjar, Ranveer Singh, Surendra Bhuriya and Sugni Devi (50). CM Bhajanlal Sharma said in a tweet on Sunday evening that instructions have been given to provide proper treatment to the injured.
“The news of the deaths of people in a road accident in Sikar district is very sad,” Sharma posted on X.
“May Lord Shri Ram grant peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to the injured,” he wrote.
