52 ROUNDS FIRED, 25 BULLETS HIT THEHAT; BODIES HANDED OVER TO VICTIMS’ FAMILIES

Sikar/Nagaur: The last rites of noted gangster Raju Thehat were performed in Sikar on Monday nearly 50 hours after his death. Before the funeral, the post-mortem of the deceased was carried out at SK Hospital and it was found that Raju Thehat sustained 25 gunshots on his shoulder and chest during 52 rounds of fire.

The family members reached native village Thehat along with the dead body of Raju Thehat at around 4:30pm, following which, he was confined to flames at 5:30pm. Family members and locals were present in large numbers to pay homage. The final rites were performed by two sons of Raju Thehat, Chiku and Naman, at the farmland located 200 meters away from his house.

Meanwhile, after a post-mortem, Tarachand Kadwasara’s body reached the native village Dotina in an ambulance. Kadwasara had gone to Sikar on Saturday to meet his daughter, who studies in a coaching institute. The accused in the Raju Thehat murder case shot dead Kadwasara in front of the institute. Later, his last rites were performed. Sub Divisional officer Omprakash Verma, Badi Khatu police station officer Ganesharam and top officials of the administration were present.
