4 killed after car tyre bursts on Kota-Chittorgarh highway

Chittorgarh: Four people were killed when the case they were travelling in met with an accident after a tyre burst on the Kota-Chittorgarh highway. The accident happened at around 11 am on Saturday in Begun area of Chittorgarh district.

SHO Bhagwanlal Meghwal said that the car riders were going from Ahmedabad to UP. As the tyre burst, the uncontrolled car collided with the divider and went to the other side and collided with the trailer coming from the front there. The trailer dragged the car for a few meters. The driver of the trailer absconded after the accident.

The deceased were identified as Ram Sahodar (33), Umashankar (32), Jitendra Kumar (28), and Anil Kumar Vishwakarma (28). The four deceased used to do furniture work in Ahmedabad. They were going to the wedding of Ram’s relative.
