3 labourers die due to suffocation

Phalodi: Three labourers who had come to clean a 70-feet-deep well in Phalodi died of suffocation. Among the dead, two were siblings and the third one their brother-in-law. The incident is of Degawadi border area of Jamba police station. An eyewitness said that a well was being cleaned on Sunday. Tilokchand (35) and Laxman (25) entered the well but when there was no movement, Ravidas (21) also went in. After descending 20 feet, Ravidas became unconscious and fell down. People nearby informed the police.

Two of them were brought to District Hospital where doctors declared them dead. Later, Ravidas’s body was also taken out.
