3 held with 3 kgs heroin on border

Sriganganagar: In a significant operation in Sriganganagar, the Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) has made a major breakthrough by seizing 3 kilograms of heroin in the border area. Acting on the directives of DIG Parish Deshmukh and SP Satnam Singh, the SOG apprehended three traffickers involved in the illicit trade. The seized heroin is estimated to be worth several crores of rupees.

The operation led to the arrest of both the sellers and buyers. Two of the arrested traffickers hail from Gomawali and 79 NP, while another, who came to purchase the heroin, is from Talwandi in Punjab. This successful crackdown took place in the Anupgarh-Raisinghnagar border region.

The operation was meticulously executed by the SOG team, comprising officers Bhanu Pratap, Khushdeep, and Ganesh. Their efforts have dealt a significant blow to the drug trafficking network operating in the region, highlighting the ongoing commitment of law enforcement to combat narcotics and ensure the safety of the community.
