2 UIT employees in ACB net for taking Rs 70k bribe

Bikaner: The Bikaner unit of ACB following instructions from the headquarters arrested Ganesh Kalwani, Junior Accountant and Manish Khatri, Cashier, UIT red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 70,000 from the complainant on Friday.

The complainant said that in lieu of passing the outstanding bill of Rs 18 lakh 75,000 for development works done under the Urban Development Trust, the accused demanded Rs 70,000 bribe from him. The complaint was verified under the supervision of Harendra Mahawar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, ACB Bikaner. A team arrested the accused, who is being interrogated.
