2 PWD ENGINEERS IN ACB NET FOR TAKING Rs 45,000 BRIBE

Sawai Madhopur: ACB, On Tuesday, arrested Prakash Meena Executive Engineer taking a bribe of Rs 40,000 and Murari Lal Meena assistant engineer, Public Works Department, District Sawai Madhopur taking a bribe of Rs 5,000. Hemant Priyadarshi, Additional Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau said that a complaint was given by the complainant to SIW unit, Jaipur about Rs 10 lakh due for the construction and maintenance works done by his firm. In lieu of getting the bills passed, Prakash Meena and Murari Lal Meena were harassing the complainant by demanding a bribe amount of Rs 50,000 each as commission. Under the supervision of Vishnukant, IG, ACB, Jaipur, the complaint was verified and a trap was laid where the duo were held.
