2 minors flee juvenile home, 2nd incident in six months

Karauli : Two juvenile offenders escaped from the Children’s Observation Home located at the district headquarters. This is the second incident of absconding child abusers in the last 6 months.

This has exposed the arrangements of the child care home and the negligence of the officials. One of the juveniles is accused of raping and murdering 3-yearold girl. The second one is accused of stealing cash and theft. Kotwali police station officer Dinesh Meena said that on Sunday morning, he took stock of the spot on the information.

The police officer said that the guard was on duty. On 26 January also, two juveniles had escaped by breaking the lock of the observation home.
