2 labourers electrocuted at Adani solar plant

Jaisalmer: Two labourers were electrocuted at Adani Solar Plant in Jaisalmer. Police said the victims, identified as Dinesh Kumar and Kaushal Singh, sustained major burn injuries in the mishap. “The victims along with other labourers were working at Adani Solar Plant on Friday when electric current flowed into the machinery due to a technical fault, the police said.

The electric current ran into the machinery following a short circuit,” police said. “Both the victims sustained 90 per cent burn injuries and were immediately taken to a Jawahir hospital in Jaisalmer. They were later referred to Jodhpur for further treatment,” police added.
