2 IAS officers ride bicycle to spread health awareness

Sri Ganganagar: Two IAS officials, posted in Sri Ganganagar district, on Sunday morning set an example by riding bicycles and gave message on health awareness. District Collector Anshdeep and District Council CEO Mohammad Junaid rode bicycle for 35 kms from Sri Ganganagar to Sadulshahar and said that use of drugs in youths of Sri Ganganagar district is on a rise and to spread awareness about the drug menace, a bicycle ride was held on Sunday.

“Every person should exercise to remain healthy. I also ride bicycle so that I can get a chance to see the villages and cities of the district from close quarters. Exercising is part of my daily routine and I go for bi-cycle ride whenever gets a chance,” said District Collector Anshdeep.
