2 held in Sikar boy kidnapping, were planning for Rs 50L ransom

Sikar: The Sikar Police on Wednesday arrested two people for abducting a nine-year-old boy while he was on his way to school on Tuesday. Police informed the accused has been identified as Sunil and Anand Pal, both residents of Gumana Ka Bas village in Sikar district. “Anand Pal, who was a former student of the same school, conspired to kidnap the boy. The accused were planning to demand a ransom of Rs 50 lakhs from the victim’s family members,” said Sikar SP Kunwar Rastradeep. “The accused have been involved in various cases related to theft previously. The bolero jeep used in kidnapping the child was stolen on Sept 29 from the Nechwa PS area. A recce was done for two days before kidnapping,” added Sikar SP.
