2 held for allegedly raping 15-year-old girl in Ajmer

Ajmer: The Ajmer police in on Monday held two accused for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl on Wednesday, said a police official familiar with the matter. The accused had made threats to murder the victim. The team moved and took in Rudlai village resident Amar Singh, also known as Patwari, 23. The victim’s father stated that his daughter had gone to the forest on Dec 27 around eleven in the morning. At that point, Amar and his friend put a handkerchief over the daughter’s mouth. After that, she was raped by Amar.

In another incident, a minor was gangraped in Bharatpur. The incident is said to involve both rape and kidnapping.
