12 KILLED, 5 INJURED IN SIKAR

Sikar: Twelve people died and five were injured in a fierce collision of three vehicles in Sikar on Sunday. Seven deceased were from the same family The accident took place in Khandela area on KhandelaPalsana road at 4.30 pm on Sunday. 20 people in the pickup were returning after visiting Ganesh Dham temple in Khandela.

According to the police, a pickup and a bike collided near Maji Saheb’s Dhani. Meanwhile, both vehicles collided with the truck coming from the front. The accident was so gruesome that twelve people died on the spot while one died later. The dead include husband and wife riding a bike and eight people riding a pickup.

After the information of the accident, MP Sumedhanand Saraswati and former Union Minister Subhash Mahariya reached SK Hospital Sikar to meet the injured.
