Churu: A massive fire broke out in a sweet factory in front of the Ram temple in the city on Sunday killing a young man and another suffered burn injuries. On receiving information, the fire brigade arrived from the Municipal Council and brought the blaze under control.

Factory owner Satish Kumar Sharma said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the cold storage boiler of the factory.

The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary of the hospital. There has been a loss of around Rs 60 to 70 lakh in the accident. Deceased has been identified as Mukesh(24). The injured, Gopichand(20), is undergoing treatment at hospital.
