USD 1 Billion Business Inquiries Generated at IEEMA’s BID 2024
Mumbai: BID 2024, IEEMA's flagship event, concluded successfully with significant business enquiries close to USD $1 billion. This reflects the strong growth trajectory and global acceptance of “Make in India” products in the electrical, electronics and new energy sectors. BID 2024 also witnessed 50,000+ business footfalls, 200 international and 100 domestic buyers attending over 3,000 B2B meetings and 20 new product launches. BID 2024 witnessed participation from 250+ companies including Apar, Exide, Hartek, HPL, Havells Stelmec, Siemens, Schneider Electric, and Secure Meters amongst others.
Mr. Hamza Arsiwala, President of IEEMA said, "The huge response to BID 2024 reflects the fast growth trajectory enjoyed by the Indian Electrical in power distribution and building electricals, propelled by the transformative performance in the Indian power sector. The growth in the new energy increased adoption of renewable energy has provided additional impetus.”
