St. Xavier’s College Jaipur Hosts National Symposium on Entrepreneurship Training Initiative with 'Envisaging Viksit Bharat @ 2047' Theme
St. Xavier’s College Jaipur’s Research and Development Cell has inaugurated the National Symposium – Knowledge Transfer Programme Entrepreneurship Training Initiative, themed "Envisaging Viksit Bharat @ 2047." The symposium commenced on March 2, 2024, held in the college's auditorium. Dr. Kailash Verma, the MLA from Bagru Constituency, was the chief guest at the inauguration event. He discussed the significant changes in the educational environment that St. Xavier's College Jaipur has introduced in Nevta.
Professor Krishnendu Acharya from the University of Calcutta's Department of Botany is the distinguished speaker, engaging with both the college's students and faculty members. In an engaging "ideathon" led by Professor Krishnendu, students created 22 business concepts, out of which the top three were recognized with awards.
Spanning three days, the programme includes sessions on entrepreneurship and organic farming, and it encourages student research through paper presentations. Furthermore, a distinctive event, “Lab to Land,” is slated for Sunday in one of the villages overseen by the college's Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell.
