St. Xavier’s College Jaipur hosts blood donation camp
St. Xavier’s College Jaipur demonstrated its commitment to community service by hosting a blood donation camp within its campus on February 28th, 2024. This noble initiative was a collaborative effort between the college's National Service Scheme and Red Ribbon Club, and was conducted in partnership with Suman Blood Bank. The event was a significant part of the 7-Day Special Camp designed for NSS volunteers. It drew enthusiastic participation from the student body and staff from college as well as school, with over 70 student volunteers stepping forward. Their collective efforts resulted in the donation of more than 60 units of blood, potentially saving numerous lives and underscoring the spirit of generosity prevalent among the students. The camp was inaugurated by Rev Fr Dr Arokya Swamy SJ (Manager) and Rev Fr Dr Raymond Cherubin SJ (Vice-principal). Prof Fr S. Xavier SJ (Principal) appreciated all the students and staff who came forward for this noble cause. The teacher coordinators for the event were Dr Pradeep Soni and Mr Rohan Thomas Cherian from NSS, and Dr Sunita Choudhary and Dr Mamta Pareek from RRC.
