St. Xavier’s College Jaipur commenced two-day international conference on ‘Envisaging Viksit Bharat @ 2047’

St. Xavier’s College Jaipur commenced its two-day international conference on the theme of ‘Envisaging Viksit Bharat @ 2047’ on March 11, 2024, in the college auditorium. The inaugural address was given by Shri Sanjeev Sanyal Ji, Member of Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India who spoke on process reforms as public policy. He also chaired a panel discussion on ‘Envisaging Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Scientific & Technological, Environmental & Developmental Perspectives’. The panel included eminent professors of economics such as Prof. E. Somnathan and Prof. Rohini Somnathan, and Dr Nilanjan Dey (computer science). Apart from this, three technical sessions were also conducted in which research papers around the theme of technological advancements, scientific advancements, social justice, gender, and health were presented. The highlight of the inaugural was the talk given by Shri Sanjeev Sanyal Ji who said on AI that “it will disrupt but will also provide opportunities”.
