Roll Ball Federation President Shri Tapan Acharya Leads The Delegation To Meet The Sports Minister Of India

New Delhi: A delegation comprising of Roll Ball Federation of India, President Shri Tapan Acharya, RBFI Chief Coordinator of North & General Secretary of J&K Roll Ball Association Shri Madhu Sharma, Pankaj Bhardwaj of Uttarakhand Roll Ball Association, along with the RollBall fraternity Anas Chaudhary (NSNIS), and Samir Chaudhary called upon Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Govt of India, New Delhi to congratulate him on taking charge. They discussed strategies for promoting the indigenous game of Roll Ball, increasing its visibility at national and international levels, enhancing grassroots development, and organising training camps and tournaments to nurture young talent.

Roll ball is a game played between two teams of 6 on each side, it's a unique game played using roller skates and a ball. The Roll Ball was invented by Shri. Raju Dabhade, a physical education teacher from Pune, fondly known as Raju Sir, actively looks after affairs of the International Rollball Federation as Secretary of IRBF. With Raju sir's vision and guidance, Roll Ball is now played in 65 countries and has held 6 World Cups in different parts of the World. In India, 2 lakh players are enrolled in the senior and junior categories. There are 32 active state and UT associations affiliated with the Rollball Federation of India. Shri.Tapan Acharya is President of RBFI, who is Actor & filmmaker by profession, he was also appointed as Youth Icon and State Icon for the state of Goa  by Election Commission of India. Tapan Acharya is educated in business administration and law. He is also an active real estate investor. His education, experience, knowledge and PR skills is helping Roll Ball India scale new heights
