FAKE CA DUPES CELEBRITY ARTIST IN MUMBAI

MUMBAI: A youth in Mumbai impersonating as a Chartered Accountant has duped several rising social media stars and influencers. Aquib Hashmi under the pretext of filing GST returns last year fraudulently received more than Rs. 4 Lakhs from one social media star-cum-Influencer Danish Alfaaz. In this regard, Alfaaz through his Advocate Suhail Shariff, Partner of FALCON LEGAL, ADVOCATES & SOLICITORS has filed a Police Complaint against Hashmi for committing the offenses of Cheating (420) and Criminal Breach of Trust (406) under the Indian Penal Code. The Police Complaint has been filed before Oshiwara Police Station. The case of fraud and cheating is yet to be registered. Further details are awaited.
