Lock Upp: Is Munawar in a relationship outside of the Lock Upp house? Comedian hints while talking with inmates
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Lock Upp is one of the most trending shows currently on the digital platform. With some of the most controversial figures in the show, Lock Upp is tweaking netizens' interests. Players like Munawar Faruqui, Poonam Pandey, Anjali Arora, Sana Khan and others have emerged as strong contenders for the winning trophy. Comedian Munawar Faruqui has been praised tremendously for playing a wise and safe game in the house with many already declaring him as the winner.
But Faruqui has recently been in the news not for his fair game but for the amount of female attention he has been receiving in the house. But fans may get disappointed at the possibility that Munawar may be in a relationship outside of the house. The comedian has subtly hinted at it several times during the show which went unnoticed through the eyes of viewers.
The comedian had formed a bond with Poonam Pandey at the start of the game and the camaraderie between them has been constant ever since. Although the actress calls him her brother, it does not exclude him from her flirtatious teasing.
In the recent episode of Lock Upp, the duo can be seen joking about asking the authorities for basic supplies for an injured Munawar. In addition, Munawar said that Poonam gets votes from several different phones every day as they get to soothe their eyes, which increases the competition for him. As a reply, Poonam sat beside him and seductively said, “Ye kuch keh rahe the aapse? (He was saying something to you?)” while looking into the camera. A flustered Munawar laughed it off by joking, “Please ja, tere chakkar mein mere bhi jhagde honge bahar (Please leave, I might get into disputes outside of the house because of you)”.
This has raised questions around the fan base about whether he was hinting at a relationship outside that might get into trouble if Poonam flirts with him. Questions about his relationship status were raised before as well when another inmate, Saisha Shinde, in a talk with Munawar refused to admit that Munawar was single.
Saisha asked her ‘crush’ Munawar whether he would have dated her if he was single. The comedian replied, “But, I am single”. The designer replied, “You decide first, whether you are single or not”.
The comedian even refuted the feelings of his fellow inmate and friend Anjali Arora when she said, “I love you”. “Tere dimaag ke doctor ko bulata hoon (I am going to call your psychiatrist)”, the comedian replied. Fans have been lovingly shipping the two with the name ‘Munjali’.
Whether or not Munawar is single, is a mystery only he can solve. But Lock Upp fans will surely be heartbroken if their favourite ship does not sail outside of the house.
