Women entrepreneurs HONOURED@JKK

Women entrepreneurs were honoured by the National COWE (Confederation of India Entrepreneurs) Committee at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) on Friday. In keeping with this year’s UN theme ‘Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow’, women who are working in this field were honoured. Minister of Women and Child Development, Mamta Bhupesh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She appreciated the efforts of COWE in women empowerment.

On this occasion, Gauravi Kumari, Anila Kothari, Seema Tatiwal, Mala Khaitan, Kamala Poddar, Geetanjali Kasliwal, Preeti Bhatnagar, Saloni Sacheti, among other women entrepreneurs were felicitated. On behalf of Gauravi Kumari, the award was received by Executive Trustee, MSMS II Museum, Rama Datt. President of the National COWE Committee, Rajasthan, Shivani Bohra informed that a panel discussion was also organised during the program.

In this discussion successful women, entrepreneurs like Leela Bodia, Dr Jayshree Periwal, Irina Garg, Renu Singhi, and Kamala Poddar shared their experiences. Simultaneously, an exhibition on the theme ‘Reimagine, Reinvent and Recreate’ was also organised.
