When Music Turned Magic

Music moves the world through an amalgamation of soulful lyrics and soothing symphony. It's an escape route from reality into imagination. Music is more than just sounds, it is an emotion, a mood and often attached to memories.

But who creates these musical masterpieces? Its singers and music composers like Harish Budhwani, a Pune based software engineer turned musician.

The singer/songwriter was awarded Best Pop Artist by SMA Awards in 2020 for his hit single, Saari Umar. He has also released other singles, Dosti, Pehli Dafa, Aahista and the latest Jee Lein Hum on all audio platforms.

Harish opened the recently held Lucky Ali concert in Lucknow.

Performing with Lucky Ali in Lucknow, how was your experience?

This was my second time playing for the Nawabi audience and the experience was amazing and immaculate. The audience, ambience and being a fan of Lucky Ali myself, the experience was delightful.

What kind of music did the Lucknow audience like when you played?

The audience of Lucknow was most accommodating and very enthusiastic. They loved good quality pop music. Lucknowites really seemed to enjoy my singles like Dosti, Pehli Dafa, Aahista and Azadiyan apart from the regular pop music.

What was Lucky Ali’s reaction to the audience present during the show?

The crowd was enthused and so was Lucky Ali. He was overjoyed, even elated with the kind of response and love out poured during his concert. He was overwhelmed with how appreciative and loving the audience of Lucknow was with his music.

How different was it playing for the Lucknow audience considering the Pune ones are more into electronic, EDM and Pop?

It was different from the Pune crowd, they prefer music genres like pop-rock, electro, Indie-rock and R&B while the Lucknow audience enjoys its traditional music, upbeat and more Bollywood music.

What kind of music can we look forward to from you?

The new singles that are on the verge of release do not belong to one genre but are more inspired by the reality of life. The music will be relatable as it is composed after many observances of life.
